We got up the mountain thanks to our two skilled drivers Lee and Glynn... However our ski instructors and lots of others had a lot of trouble on the mountain climb due to the snow... It didn't look hood initially so we had to head back to the hotel but no sooner were we back and the ploughs cleared the roads and we were back at the slopes in no time and embarked on our most challenging day so far.
It snowed and snowed all day, a good half metre by lunch.. Great powder conditions at low altitude however the winds at high altitude were cutting blowing the soft snow away leaving an icey surface... No dramas for us though... Miss Ball and I skied with both groups who both went to the top and carefully navigated their way down unfazed and without incident.
The weather broke a little in the afternoon which left fantastic skiing conditions for all and the kids skied hard and well and we made up a lot of lost time. The standard and individual skill improves by the hour and we all had a fantastic day with plenty of tails to tell again!!!
Back for dinner and then down to the local swimming pool for a regimental bath.. So fear not, regardless of anyone who hasn't showered they are all very clean now!!! The pool was great with a flume which connected to an outside pool which was a great experience to swim whilst it was snowing!!!
All clean and refreshed we arrived back at the hotel in time to deliver messages from home and write a few pupil blogs (to follow)
In regars to the twonk.. Well we have a Austrian ski rep with us (Omar).. He is 6' +, a basket ball player and a snow boarder and he has been fantastic with the kids.. However he had a few wipe outs today and has been the butt of numerous jokes so the kids by a huge majority voted him twonk for tomorrow.. If only to see him with the twonk hat whilst trying to maintain his uber cool exterior!!
I will add the pics momentarily and look forward to passing your messages back to the pupils tomorrow. The conditions are set to improve tomorrow but it is still snowing so another fresh lot of powder to mess up!!
Until tomorrow.. Auf Wiedersehen

Glad to hear you're all still enjoying yourselves. Lottie is so jealous of all the snow Tom. You should have packed her in your suitcase! She could have borrowed your shades as a disguise- if you've managed to take them off yet!! Glad to hear that you've had your annual bath!! Still missing you lots and can't wait to see you on Saturday, love Mum, Dad, James and Lottie xx

Love and miss you Sammykins, Mum and Dad XXXXXX
